REFLECTIONS
2025 · Album · Duduk
Reflections is a seven-track recording centred on traditional melodies and the distinctive voice of the duduk. Rather than treating the repertoire as historical material preserved at a distance, Mirzoyan approaches it as something alive – music capable of carrying inherited memory while remaining personal to performer and listener.
Across the album, mourning and longing gradually open into resilience, intimacy and light. Mirzoyan also took an active role in shaping the recording beyond performance, contributing to its arrangements and producing “Tsaghkats Baleni” and “Sareri Hovin Mernem”. This makes Reflections not only an interpretation of inherited repertoire, but a recording project shaped by his own musical perspective.
In 2026, Reflections received the BraVo Award for Classical Album of the Year.
SOLITUDE
2024 · Album · Piano
Solitude reveals a more private dimension of Mirzoyan’s musical life. The eleven-track solo piano album brings together more than an hour of music by Brahms, Beethoven, Rachmaninoff, Tchaikovsky, Chopin, Sibelius and Medtner.
Although clarinet remains his principal classical instrument, piano has accompanied Mirzoyan since childhood. Solitude gives that part of his musical identity its own space – not as a departure from his work as a clarinetist, but as another way of approaching colour, harmony and expression.

Øneheart · Dean Korso · leadwave
Mirzoyan appears as a duduk musician on Samsara Passengers, performing on the album’s opening track “shifting sands” and on “nomad”. The collaboration places the acoustic voice of the duduk within the atmospheric electronic world created by Øneheart, Dean Korso and leadwave.
